Jan Duras (Ján Ďuraš) — founder of Corsius and DURASIUS.
Founder & CEO, DURASIUS
Jan started building things at 8 years old — not for attention, but because he genuinely enjoyed both the process and the result.
What began as curiosity turned into obsession. Design, video, code, product, marketing — whatever it took to bring ideas into the world properly.
Over time, that work became valuable. Via his touch and companies, he directly impacted CANNYPACK (Slovak software company based in Bratislava) and its products MODOC (world's leading “Anti-doping done right.” — end-to-end digital anti-doping SaaS), and LEAP ERP (all-in-one CRM and ERP for services businesses) — by providing product design, marketing, and day-to-day execution. He still continues providing value to all three to this day via DURASIUS and its services.
He helped co-found TechGuru SK/CZ back in 2017 and became a creative mastermind behind the brand, from brand identity, through building the website, and all the way to marketing — eventually taking the brand under the “Powered by DURASIUS” umbrella as a portfolio project.
He shot numerous videos, crafted more than 1000 designs, coded multiple pieces of software, and continued on creating passionately, instinctively. All leading to gathering the most invaluable thing — taste. By building for others and delivering results — he saw how often things were rushed, compromised, or done without real standards.
That’s where the line was drawn.
He founded DURASIUS in October 2024 (originally named The Whizziest) to build things the right way — with clear standards, strong taste, and independent judgment — and leads DURASIUS as CEO. The company was renamed to DURASIUS in October 2025.
No borrowed opinions. No compromises. Just the work, done properly, and improved until it holds.
The first ever venture founded and launched under DURASIUS following these principles was Corsius — Essential business infrastructure for your HVAC company.
